simsim Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Groundrules, Plot 124, First Mall, First Sector, Banks Complex, South 90th Street, Fifth Settlement, New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt ("we", "us"), which operates simsim. By creating an account or using simsim you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy (simsim.id/privacy) explains how we handle your information.

2. Who can use simsim

You must be at least 13. You use simsim as a member or guest of a community (for example a residential compound, workplace, school or venue) that uses simsim. The information you give us must be true, and you may only use your own phone number.

3. Your account and your ID

Your account and your simsim ID are personal. Keep your phone and its screen lock secure, don't share your ID or let someone else present it, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. Your community

Each community decides who can join, which gates and areas members and guests can use, its rules, its services and its fees. We provide the tools; the community runs its own operations. Questions about access, bills, services or community decisions should go to your community's management. A community can change or end your membership under its own rules.

5. Guest passes

You are responsible for the passes you create and for sharing them only with the people they are meant for. Your guests must follow the community's rules. A community may refuse entry to anyone.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use simsim to break the law or a community's rules; to impersonate anyone or give false identity information; to harass or harm others; to copy, forge or misuse IDs or passes; or to interfere with, reverse engineer or overload simsim or its security.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you send through simsim, such as messages and requests. You allow us and your community to use it to provide the service. Content posted by a community belongs to that community.

8. Services, bills and third parties

Services listed in simsim are provided by your community or by third parties, not by us. Bills are issued by your community; unless the app says otherwise, you pay the community directly. Businesses listed in simsim are independent.

9. Availability

We work to keep simsim available and accurate, but it is provided "as is". Gates and entry depend on equipment, connectivity and people outside our control, so always follow your community's fallback arrangements if something doesn't work.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts of communities, guests, service providers or other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension and ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app (More → Profile → Delete account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others or simsim at risk.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using simsim after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction.
