Memberships track a person’s relationship to a community through its whole lifecycle, separate from their platform identity and their unit.
States and actions
Members move through invited, pending, active, suspended, and blacklisted, with approve / suspend / reactivate / blacklist actions. Unit approval and verification are independent gates layered on top.
Every action is written to an audit trail, so “why is this member suspended?” always has an answer.
